Writing From the Inside Out
60 Minute Workshop 1 CE
This workshop explores the unconscious through poetry, narrative fiction, and free associative writing, specifically designed for clinicians working with complex cases. By engaging with poetry, literature, and writing, we will gain new insights into integrating modern psychoanalytic and creative techniques to enhance our case consultations and address clinical moments effectively.
Learning Objectives
1. Write case conceptualizations through poetry and creative writing.
2. Describe how listening to a poem and listening to a patient may be a similar process.
3. Identify elements of transference in poetry and clinical case material.
