My approach to psychotherapy & consultation

I am Angela Wurtzel, and I am thrilled to welcome you to a space where individual, group, couples, and family psychotherapy can help you. Over the past 30 years in private practice, I have witnessed countless people discover their strengths and realize their dreams. I aim to help people develop and discover the tools and confidence to face life's challenges and grow into their most fulfilled selves.

In my practice, I work with a wide variety of personal concerns from both patients and professionals. For people seeking psychotherapy, our work is uniquely designed for each individual, couple, or family. If you're interested in consultation, we tailor our time together to your needs and clinical material.

Our work is collaborative, energizing, and directive.

the virtual couch

Your personal story is the central focus of our sessions. Each session centers on your experiences, emotions, and thoughts. Being listened to carefully helps uncover the factors that led you to seek therapy.

Sessions are held online or by phone. I work from a home office designed to be private and free of distractions. The aim is to create a safe, open space for honest expression.

The overall goal of our therapy is to explore emotional responses to life events and to understand how these experiences shape and enrich your sense of self.

I am licensed and registered to provide psychotherapy services in California, Colorado, Florida, Nevada, New Mexico and Washington DC. I provide consultation services nationally and internationally.
